The best Fish and Chips we have had!
When my wife and I visited Tavistock in November of 2010, we ate here and loved their fish and chips! The best we have had! Friendly staff, and a good and clean environment. I asked them what they used to do the fish and chips in and they said "The UK's finest oil and local potatoes!" It works for me, we will be back!

Its sad that this place burnt down recently but I understand that its going to be opening up again soon. Ill be interested to see if theyve changed much. Ill certainly be one of the first customers in line, as Friday nights without fish and chips just havent been the same this month! The staff are extremely chatty and friendly and the food is good.

Couldn't be batter!
This place churns out proper old-fashioned fish'n'chips; the kind that used to be doled out in newspaper. Dieters beware - everything is deep-fried, but this place produces the kind of food that has made fish and chips a national favourite over the years. The portion sizes are decent and the prices are good too.

The chips are very good. In terms of portion sizes: not too much and not too little. If you don't fancy fish you can always choose something else from the menu. The fish is always a good sized portion, thick chunky sizes, and always cooked to perfection. I have always found the price to be very reasonable as well, and in fact, a bit cheaper compared to shops in other local towns and villages.

Best fish and chips in tavistock. You can phone your order through and collect it on your way home so as to save on queing... and they have some queus at times due to their popularity. Staff are friendly and don't mind some friendly banter between themselves and customers. They also have a small eat in area in case you want to treat the Mrs..!!!!
