What a great shop!
Kountry Kit is an exellent shop, very, helpful, informative staff, no waiting, great choices. Will definately visit again, I needed a pair of walking boots and didnt have a clue but a very helpful member of staff found the exact boots I needed and checked they were right for me. Would highly recommend.

Kountry Kit is a specialist outdoor equipment shop in Tavistock that offers a wide range of camping gear and accessories from pegs to pocket knives. Kountry Kit is a large and spacious store located on West Street and is run by a friendly team of staff who will help offer advice on any query you may have in regards to the great outdoors.

A great outdoor kit shop!
At the top of town, with fairly good onstreet parking outside , Kountry Kit is a really good medium sized independent, and is WELL worth a visit. They carry all the main brands, and the place is CRAMMED with kit. Always attentive staff, always ENOUGH staff too. If you want advice, you'll get it here. very good on footwear. Often bargains to be had - watch out for their - infrequent - SALE sign in the window. Good supporters of local events too. A hard place to make a quick stop!
