I shop weekly at Morrisons, I've always been pleased with the quality and variety of the goods available. In addition the store is clean and the staff helpful. Recently I've been unable to complete my shop due to poor stock levels. Nothing too exotic, but basics out of stock. Some recent examples being fresh chickens, cooking apples and cat food. Staff tell me that staff numbers and hours have been reduced- hence the need to either return to Morrisons or do a "top up" shop at another Supermarket.

I have been a visitor in Tavi during August 2010. Sally from the Union Inn took me shopping at Morrisons. I still regret not buying a Pork Pie. I will have to go back for one. I fell in love with Tavi, The Union and Morrisons. Good reasons to go back there.

I love Morrisons and the one in Tavistock does not let this chain down. Everything is always well stocked. The fruit and veg is always looking tidy clean and the produce always looks fresh. There are always plenty of staff around and have always been helpful in the past. As mentioned in reviews before the rear of this shop has excellent delicatessens, bakery, butcher and fish counter, all of which are fantastic and staffed by people who know what they are talking about and can give you some descent advice if you need it. I have also bought my Christmas tree here every year for the last few and it has been excellent!
I am strictly a Tesco's shopper but wish they would have a fresh fish counter as good as the one in Morrisons, Tavistock! Its amazing and if we are passing we usually get something nice for tea. Its like being at a local fresh fish market! The shop in general is always well stocked, well laid out and hardly ever have to queue. A very nice store.

ReportYes I shop at Morrisons every week. It is good value for money whilst also maintaining a good standard of produce. Im sure that they must have noticed a decline in customers after the new Lidl store has opened, but Im sure that the core of customers will remain loyal.
I would consider Morrisons to be the main supermarket in Tavistock. It has been around for years now (although not under the same name) and is nearly always busy even at off peak times. The Tavistock store is always well kept and well stocked. The offers are great, and even the non-offer products are a reasonable price.

Britains fourth largest supermarket chain and probably Tavistocks largest employer, Morrisons is my choice for my weekly shopping. They have lots of food that is prepared in store which makes for fresh produce and often great smells when you walk around inside. They have competitive prices and hundreds of special offers each week.

This store is very good and is very well run. The "deli" area at the rear of the shop is very good. The fresh fish and meat conters are always presented beautifully and the staff here are always very helpfull. There is never any trouble parking and is alwaqys well stocked and presented. They also always sell very nice chrismas trees outside here at christmas! :)
Morrisons is my favourite supermarket chain. This particular supermarket is quite a large one and has all the areas youd expect in a store of this size. Their hot meat section is very good with lots of interesting pieces of chicken cooked in various spices. Morrisons always has completive prices when compared with other chains and often has exceptional offers. They have a bit of competition in the form of the new Lidl but I think many people will still do their weekly shop at Morrisons.
