Tavistock was in need of a professional retail jewellery shop and John Baldwin Jewellery has more than filled the gap with an excellent range of jewellery. I have a particular liking for Pearls and over the years have amassed a reasonable collection during overseas travel. Whilst I will continue to travel far and wide I have discovered that Baldwins carries a fantastic selection of pearl jewellery at competitive prices and so from now on I shall make my purchases in Tavistock.

Brilliant service

John Baldwins is a great addition to Tavistocks main street. I have taken jewellewry here to be fixed a couple of times and the staff are always helpfull and provide a great service at a reasonable price. They also stock "troll beads" which I believe fit onto all the current fad bead bracelets such as pandora which is good to know for gifts.

Yes I would definitely recommend this shop if you are after some some high end bespoke jewellery. The pieces in here are really beautiful and well worth splashing out for if you can afford it. Saying that, not all the jewellery is that expensive. You can also pick up some trendy cheaper stuff as well. Well worth having a look. Its nice that the owner is a local man. Id prefer to buy from a store like this than a big chain.

People no longer have to travel to Plymouth to buy jewellery from John Baldwin; you can now get the quality, range, presentation and high standard of customer service from this Goldsmiths in Tavistock. John Baldwin is clearly passionate about what he does and you can see that in the products he sells.

John Baldwins Goldsmiths is a well established local business. I know the man himself and he takes great pride in his work. He has successful stores in Plymouth and has made jewellery for Royalty in the past. The staff are knowledgeable and always willing to take their time with you. The shop itself showcases its products very well too.
