Crebers really is a source of pride for the people of Tavistock. Where else can you find such an array of yumminess?? ;) Full of foods and nibbles, ales and tipples which you didn't know you needed. Absolutely wonderful for christmas gifts and hampers.

Crebers is simply wonderful, Great to look at from the outside, especially at Christmas time when the window displays look like a scene out of a Dickens novel , And great on the inside - a treat for all the senses. Very good quality products - not cheap mind you - and a shopping experience that is rare to find nowadays.

This is the shop that puts Tavistock on the map. It really is a unique shop that you just wont find anywhere else. The smell that hits you when you walk in the door is delicious and one that you will never forget. You will find all sorts of goodies including chutnies and sauces that you wont find in the supermarkets. Also lots of fresh food including cheese and various meats. If you are visiting Tavistock, then a visit to Crebers is a must!
Crebers like the pannier market is a huge part of tavistock. It has a great selection of foods you will not find in your everyday supermarket! It has a brilliant fresh food section as well as many unusual products for sale. It is a brilliant place to go if you are looking for products to go in a hamper and food related gifts for others!

Crebers completely supports Tavistocks "market town" feel. This shop is like something out of "A Christmas Carol" era. And the best time to go there is at Christmas! However, throughout the year it is packed full with the most amazing alternative foods you can find! Well worth a look if you are passing, I guarentee you will buy something!

ReportI saw this shop on the news the other day! Angela Rippon was in there saying how nice it is :) I do love this store. Its one of Tavistocks unique shops that gives the town that something special. You cant do regular food shops in there as it would cost a fortune, but its nice to get a few special bits around Christmas, or when you have guests round.

ReportYes this is really a great little store. I use it regularly for the Chinese section at the rear of the store. They sell ingredients that you just cant find in a regular supermarket. I also find their pepper, salt, and herb section very useful. Its nice to be able to ask for exactly the amount you need.
I absolutely love Crebers! You would think that it would be really expensive, but a lot of their products are very reasonably priced. Its great for products that you cant find in the supermarket like authentic prawn crackers and organic maple syrup. There are always plenty of staff on hand who are normally more than happy to help. I think every town should have a Crebers :)

ReportThis shop is brilliant. Pickled Walnuts, Jam, Chutneys, Biscuits and the most amazing smell of coffee when you walk through the door! Its also one of my favourites around chrismas as they stock the best festive treats you won't find anywhere else! :)
Crebers is great for bespoke snacks for dinner parties. I particularly recommend the parsnip crisps. Im surprised (but happy) that its still going what with all the supermarkets in Tavistock, but I guess this is because it is so very different. It isnt cheap, but it does stock things that you cant find anywhere else.
