Thariks is a good alternative to other indians in tavi and offers competition! It is not bad but struggles to meet the high quality of Ganges across the road. Slightly small waiting area for deliveries and is more pricey than other indians nearby! The food is still of good quality and will fill a gap!

Sadly I had been spoilt by other Indians but this one sadly let me down. The food was lacklustre and cold. vivid sauces with unatural colour and side plates that would ruin the hunger of a stray dog. Sorry, try harder

The food was wonderful, and the service great. Very reasonable too.

Cold side dishes, uncooked naan bread, really dreadful.. Asian food should take more than just heating up different coloured sauces over bits of meat. If you (restaurant owners who review themselves on the 'net) can't be bothered on a quiet monday evening, then don't open up.

Thariks has been our local Indian for years. Really great staff and owner; takeaway service is quick and reliable. Although many may find Indian food in general spicy, what is great is that we''ve always had the pleasure of having a customised meal, so all you got to do is ask!
Thariks is a very nice restaurant. It is very modern inside, clean and light. The service was excellent, we were never without a drink and didnt need to get up once. The food was excellent and the dishes that were supposed to be hot were VERY hot! One of the best Indian meals I have had. Very reasonably priced too.
I have been here a couple of times now with my partner and with a group of friends and cannot find fault. The food was fantastic, the service was great and with a smile. The restaraunt is very light and open, looks clean and is not cramped. Will definately being going back again. Probably the best Indian restaurant in Tavistock.

ReportI live just outside of Tavistock, and visit Plymouth regularly, but would definitely come to Tavistock for an Indian instead of going into town. Ive tried a few places in Plymouth, but they just dont seem to have the same quality as Thariks. The service is always very efficient here and I would definitely recommend the food.
