We had not had a meal at Steps for a while but returned here on Thursday for my birhday. We were not disappointed. Food was fresh, delicious and served quickly. We were even surprised in a good way when our bill arrived - 3 courses and a glass of wine each for a fatastic £40. Some people may be put off by the interior (I love it as it feels very homely) but out the back there are two alcoves where my husband and I enjoyed some lovely dates when we met 8 years ago. To finish off Suzanne is a lovely, warm host.
