The Ordulph is one of the more popular in Tavistock! It is very good of a day time for a quick drink or break, with very welcoming and friendly staff! Of a weekend it certainly varies in business, either way; quiet or busy, personally it is a good choice. There is a wide selection of beers at a good price and the pub is very spacious with plenty of seating and standing space! Very good place to watch live sport!

The Ordulph is a popular spacious and recently modernised pub. The only thing its missing is a garden or smoking area, as if you smoke you have to stand outside the front doors on the road. Other than that it is great for a pub lunch great food for a great price and good sized portions. The service is brilliant and I will definatley continue to eat and drink here
I have been here a few time but am by no meand a regular. I have had lunch here a couple of time and remember the food being above your average pub food and very reasonable prices too. It is a large spacious pub downstairs with large tv screen, I would imagine they show sports here. I have also been to a party in the function room upstairs which is unexpectedly large and you would not know was there from the outside! A very versatile pub and brilliant addition to Tavistock.

ReportWe regularly go here for a Sunday roast. I think its about £7-8 per person which is pretty typical of this area. The food is really good though and I would definitely recommend it. The eating area on the ground floor is nicely decorated and the room has a good atmosphere to it. The location is convenient and the staff are very friendly.

ReportI havent been here for a good while but I used to attend functions in the suite upstairs. Its quite a handy space, and is probably overlooked by quite a lot of people in Tavistock. The bar downstairs always seems full and the staff have always been well presented and pleasant.
This is a great little pub, with great atmosphere, great food, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? Sky Sports! Its tucked out of the way of the main street, so not many tourists know about it, but the locals are all friendly so it makes for a nice local pub. The addition of the comedy club is great for Tavistock too.

You can expect good quality ale and good value for money food at the Ordulph. There is also an upstairs function area which has its own bar and seating. I have to say though that the main entrance is a bit lethal. Be careful of the very powerfully sprung two-way doors - they nearly took my finger off once!

ReportA nice pub. They have welcoming staff and plenty of freindly locals. This doesn't seem like one of the pubs where everyone turns and stares at you when you walk through the door. Their food is very good as well. I have been to a couple of good comedy nights there and would certainly go there for a pint or two if I was on a night out in Tavi.

ReportI have had lunch here a couple of times and it was well priced and good quality food. I also went to the first comedy evening here in April and had a great night. Its definately something different for the area and a great idea for a night out with friends/ family/ colleagues etc..
I havent been to the comedy club but am planning on going next month. Friends tell me that it is a good night. There is a good atmosphere in the downstairs pub. They have sky sports so its good to have a pint (or 2) and watching football. The food is also good. Good standard pub grub.
