Go down a small road, Then a smaller one. Then a smaller one. Then through a farmyard, And all of a sudden emerge into a good car park in front of a very attractive old pub! Low ceilings, stonework, log fires. A top shelf of single malts that must be ten yards long. Fabulous selection of well kept beers. Good wines. And an excellent restaurant in really nice decor. I'd recommend the Peter Tavy anytime to anyone who'd appreciate something better than usual. Mine hosts very freindly too.

The food here is really fab. Ok it's a little outside of Tavistock, but I know people who are happy to drive from Plymouth, so really we're quite lucky distance wise. As I said the food is great. Everyone I've spoken to about it agrees, and I've never actually heard a bad review of the place. The location is nice and idyllic as well.
