We are a group of friendly volunteers who carry out monthly litter picks in and around the town of Tavistock. We meet the first Saturday of each month at the Wharf car park at 9.50am. If you Love Where You Live and would like to help, come and join us.

Why I like Tavistock
I enjoy living in Tavistock because it is a beautiful old market town, with great amenities. It has a lot of history and a wonderful Pannier market, which I love to browse around. It is a great community with so much to offer. The people are very friendly and although I only moved here a year ago, I feel very much at home here. I am a founder member of the Tidy Tavi Team, we do voluntary litter picks in and around the town.
Why I don't like Tavistock
What I didn't like when I first came to live here one year ago, was the amount of litter thrown needlessly into the canal and river, also in and around the town. Things have improved so much now that the Tidy Tavi Team is working hard to help clean up the town. We welcome all volunteers.
