Council Opens Charity Car Park on Goose Fair Evening in Tavistock

Park your car in Tavistock on Goose Fair evening and raise funds for charity at the same time. Yes, you might have got a bit fed up of loosing the convenience of parking in the Town Centre during the day, but you can still have a fun evening on Wednesday and park reasonably close to the action, as West Devon Borough Council Staff will be running a charity car park at Kilworthy Park in aid of Shelterbox.

Communications Manager, Alison Stoneham says, "on Goose Fair Evening which is this Wednesday (October 14). Tavistock Goose Fair revellers can bring a welcome boost to charity funds by parking at the West Devon Borough Council car park in Kilworthy Park, Tavistock for just £3". 

Borough Council staff are volunteering to operate the parking during the evening to raise money for ShelterBox, an international disaster relief charity that delivers emergency shelter to people affected by disaster worldwide. 

The charity car park will be open from 5pm to 8pm on Goose Fair evening only.
