Bursaries Available for Dartmoor Summer School

Dartmoor Arts has several bursaries available for anyone wishing to study at the summer school this year.

Courses range from stone carving (with internationally renowned sculptor Peter Randall-Page as a visiting tutor), through iron casting, landscape painting, drawing and photography to documentary film-making.

The summer school is designed to bring together artists from all backgrounds to engage in a "forum for experimentation and critical debate".

The week-long courses run from 25 to 31 July. This year, a special weekend course in Storytelling will take place on 6-7 June. There will also be a programme of evening events such as artists' talks.

Bursaries of up to 40% of the cost will be offered to people who would not otherwise be able to participate.
