Now where Woolies used to be, Fashion Direct is quite a large shop with a HUGE and diverse range of clothing and accessories, often at VERY good prices. There's usually something on sale. My wife got a super outdoor jacket and trousers from the before Xmas at less than half the retail price. Good mens and womens wera, not so much kids. Good seasonally. Linked to the shoe shop next door. AND they do Pick'n'Mix like Woolies used to!

Fashion Direct the new shop in the old Woolworths..
Fashion Direct the new shop in the old Woolworths store is a lot bigger and more spaciously spread out than the old one towards the top of town. They have some nice clothes in here with a very diverse range of styles and genres. They also stock some very nice shoes some high quality brands too such as CAT and Timberlands at reduced prices.

This shop is odd! It has some really nice clothes in it but they all seem to be very overpriced recently and I'm sure it never used to be this expensive??? Some of the clothes, especially those in the window and towards the front of the shop are up to date and nice original items. However, the further towards the back of the shop you go its like going back in time into some wierd clothes reject land! Although I did get a large waterproof hat in there for my grandad once!

Ive only been in this store once since its taken Woolworths..
Ive only been in this store once since its taken Woolworths old position on the high street. Its probably the biggest (in square footage) high street shop in Tavistock, and is well filled with shoes and clothes. With all the trendy clothes shops that have popped up in the last few years its nice to have a store that caters for more mature shoppers.

Large store for Tavistock
Fashion Direct has been in Tavistock for a few years now, and still seems to be doing well. They sell lots of clothes both male and female, and are good for things like boxers and socks. They also have a lot of shoes on offer so its worth having a look. Its quite a large store for Tavistock and is very well stocked.

Worth a look
This shop has been in Tavistock for some time now. It's not really for 'young' people, but if you're after a sensible pair of shoes or an outfit for work then it's worth having a look. It's also one of the few shops in Tavistock to sell mens clothing.
