    Keeping fit is the key to living longer and its been recognized by Mc,'Millan cancer support this is beneficial to cancer sufferer's, they are supporting funding to help them. I am 65, on my pension and like many others cannot afford the price of gym membership, so would like to suggest that Tavistock College and other local gyms make it affordable to pensioners. There must be hours in the day or evening where they could give us a slot....

    A former Tavistock College student is rowing the distance across Lake Victoria in aid of charity. Kit Tigwell, a medical student at The University of Nottingham, is fundraising for the Kenyan Orphan Project (KOP) in preparation for travelling to Kenya this summer to assist in their work.
