Nominations confirmed for West Devon Borough Elections

The election nominations for West Devon Borough Council closed at

midday today. 

A total of 27 of 31 council seats are being contested by 66

candidates at an election to be held on Thursday May

5.

Candidates have until Thursday 7th April to

withdraw.

 

Local candidates are as follows:

Joyce Bottse - Liberal Democrats - Bere Alston

    Is there still some sort of vote for Buckland Monachorum? I guess not if it's uncontested. I really think there should be though because technically you could have have any old loon getting through.

    Sorry, yes I tried to keep the list localish so that the post wasn't too long. The full list of nominations for Tamarside is: Adrian Steabben Hepworth - Liberal Democrat - Brentor, John Sheldon - Independent - Lamerton, and David John Whitcomb - Conservative - Tavistock. There is one seat available.
