Do you have a spare horse trailer or any old equipment?

Trainers at Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service are in
the midst of training four specialist crews to deal with the many calls
it receives each year to incidents involving trapped animals, and they
need your help.
The Service desperately needs an old horse trailer or two. It does
not have to be fully intact, roadworthy or pretty to look at, so if you
have an old horse trailer covered in moss and lichen with a wheel
missing and a hole in the floor let them know and they will collect it
from you and put to exceptionally good use.
The trainers are also looking for old tack - bridles, saddles etc to
assist in the training scenarios. The condition is unimportant as their
16-hand stallion is made of plastic and is rarely ridden!
If you can help, please contact the Service’s Press Office on 01392 872259.
