What will Government and Council Subsidy Cuts mean to Public Transport for Tavistock and its rural areas?

One thing for sure it will not mean improvement. Coupled with increases in Fuel Tax and the continued Conservative Intent to introduce Parking Meter Tax. It looks bleak.

Looking on the bright side if nothing changes in the next 5 years, we would have added a nanosecond to the life of the Planet.

What a good time for Devon County Council and West Devon Borough Council to revamp the Bus Station. Less Buses equal less use. Not that the Toilets are seen as important. West Devon Borough Council may be leaving them open at present, but have the intent to dump the cost on Tavistock Town Council. Otherwise they will close.

As long as the CEO of Devon County Council gets paid more than the Prime Minister and Fatcat salaries remain. All will be well within insular Councils and only outside users of services will be punished. When will Councillors speak up about this, they are supposed to be directing matters. They seem to be supporting these regimes.
