Christopher Miles (more commonly known as CJ), who grew up in Gunnislake, has recently been reported missing by Austrian Police. 28 year old CJ attended Callington School and Community College, and is well known by many local people.
CJ, who has been working for Austrian transfer company Alpentouristik, disappeared around mid day on Saturday after dropping holiday makers to Ruhpolding airport, Germany.
He failed to turn up at his next job, and his work mini van was later found at Ruhpolding train station with the lights on and the keys still in the ignition.
His father, Nick Palmer-Miles, flew out to Austria on Monday morning, and has since been leading a vigorous campaign to find his missing son.
His family have started a Facebook group, and over two hundred people have joined to help with the search. Several people have left messages, including CJ’s dad who wrote yesterday: “I am going to find you son, I won’t give up till I do. I have never given up on you and never ever will ... I love you son with all my heart X”.
If you have any information on CJ’s whereabouts please email palmerlangar@hotmail.com or get in touch via the Facebook group.

ReportYeah he grew up down here, but his family moved up country some time back. I think he moved away in his late teens.

Gives a little more info but also conflicting info. Seems he has been living out there for four years and has recently be diagnosed as having bipolar disorder. Trent Radio says that he is a Nottingham man!? Which is where his father lives.
Very odd. Would make a good spy story.
