Due to popular demand Tavistock Garden Festival 2011 will be getting back to its roots and returning to a two day event to celebrate the best of gardens, countryside and food.
For 2011 the festival will be expanding to include events in and around both the Pannier Market and Town Hall.
This celebration of gardening will be taking place on the Spring Bank Holiday weekend Sunday 29th and Monday 30th May 10am - 4pm, events over both days will include:

Floral Art Demonstrations at Tavistock Garden Festival
The Academy of Floral Art are coming to Tavistock Garden Festival on Sunday 29th and Monday 30th May, 12:30 - 13:30 hrs on both days.
Learn how to create beautiful floral designs for the home by watching a relaxing and informative demonstration by two top floral designers. On stage we will be presenting Tina Parkes, Dutch Floristry Master and Julie Collins, English Floristry Master from the Academy of Floral Art. They will be using a range of garden material that will inspire you to go home and have a go at making your own arrangement.

ReportNew for 2011 the festival is taking over the Town Hall with a fantastic mix of edible garden produce including preserves, chutneys, cider and even special garden themed cupcakes, along with craft ware, organic gardeners skincare products as well as Flowerpot Photography.
Alongside the stalls there will be inspiring cookery and floral art demonstrations, plus, the chance to take a look at the next generation of garden designers with our children’s design a garden competition. With more than just plants on offer there will be plenty to tempt you to indulge in some retail therapy!
