A two day Event, Commemorating the 70th Anniversary of the Arrrival of the US Army 29th Division in Tavistock and the Establishment of Divisional Headquarters at Abbotsfield House, Tavistock, Devon, United Kingdom.

Entertainment including 'Pvt Ricky Hunter 1940's Vocalist and Trumpeter', Saturday Night 1940's Dance with The Three Belles, 1940's DJ 12 O'Clock High. Sunday, Commemorative Service, Parade and 'Dig for Victory' Garden Festival in the Pannier Market and Hall! With Home Front and Vehicles to welcome you. On Display will be WW2 Military Living History Displays, WW2 Vehicles, Local Organisation and Vintage and Military Stalls.Watch the Wartime vehicles road run throughout the town on both days! As well as a not to miss, Real Ale and Cider Festival on site all weekend hosted by Tavistock Lions Club!
Dance tickets are £6 in advance or £8 on the door on Saturday, Weekend daytime entrance is Free!

All monies raised by donation will go towards Local Charities and Organisations and a plaque to Commemorate the 29th Infantry Division in Tavistock and the sacrifices they gave to help us gain peace.
