Following last year’s popular and successful Halloween weekend, this year Morwellham Quay will be extending the Halloween festivities over five days - starting on Saturday 27th October and continuing through to Wednesday 31st.
Children will be able to have a go at making Victorian Halloween crafts, enter the fancy dress competition and visit the Witch’s Coven. A scary story will told by the teacher in the school.
New for 2012 is the Halloween Hunt, which will have a frighteningly sweet prize for those who complete it.
Children will be able to ‘trick or treat’ the Victorian cottages safely, with dedicated staff dressed in Halloween costumes behind each door. Halloween food will be available in the Ship Inn throughout the day.
The village will open at 10:00am and Halloween themed events will begin at 12:00pm. Entry to the village will be £7.95 per person (£4.95 for membership holders) and will include the spooky mine train ride, during which visitors will be told a scary ghost story by the guide whilst underground (not for the faint-hearted).
