I lived and worked in Plymouth for 11 years, i then moved to Tavistock, i didnt mind doing the traveling bit, it was nice to get in my car and drive towards the moors after a days work, it's another life out hear, i know it's a bit of a problem at The George Hotel for traffic but get up that little earlier.

Couldn't agree more, I moved the end of November and as you say after a day at work the drive over the moors is lovely

ReportAnd the country smell's are great they are just as i type spreading Cow Poo on 5 fields infront of the cottage. But that is living in the sticks as i would say, IT'S GREAT and no fumes.

ReportNo, I will never give on the quest for better broadband infrastructure for West Devon. Which translates as fibre optic roll-out. There is broadband news every day now, changes and announcements that give me hope that Tavistock Telephone Exchange will get on the fibre optic roll-out plan - sooner rather than later.
Bloomin well hope it is sooner rather than later then maybe you may give it a rest...but then I wonder what your next crusade will be?! (Watch this space...or don't if you have become rather fed up!)

ReportI have a couple of other crusades - one is the use of 0845 - a kick back number and costly from a mobile. Used in particular by the BBC on a local basis, Radio Devon, Cornwall and so on. Also by Devon and Cornwall Police - one of the few English Police Forces still ripping the public off. As soon as Tavistock Telephone Exchange is put on the Fibre Optic Roll-Out Plan, I will not post about that part here. I am not mentioning the rest because there is a LG Election coming up.
