Can we have white lines painted on the roadsides so that cars are parked in proper parking bays rather than spread out thinly with huge gaps between them.
Residents ( Council Tax payers) should be issued with a parking permit to extend parking times. That will bring life back into the centre of town.

Yes I whole heartedly agree with you about the white lines. It would certainly solve a lot of problems, and wouldn't cost that much to employ. Not so sure about the extended parking times for residents however. Surely most people could walk to the town so wouldn't need parking in the centre. If locals start parking in the centre then it won;t leave any rooms for the visitors who bring much needed custom to the town.
