As a keen gardener yourself WhitePig, I’m sure you will agree, a must see event for all gardening enthusiasts visiting Tavistock in May is the annual Tavistock Garden Festival.

Due to popular demand Tavistock Garden Festival 2011 will be getting back to its roots and returning to a two day event to celebrate the best of gardens, local countryside and local food.

For 2011 the festival will be expanding to include events in and around both the Pannier Market and Town Hall, with a grow it- eat it – enjoy it theme.
