Tavistock Pannier Market again this year presented the Easter Bonnet Competition where traders make up unusually wonderful hats to wear and wow the customers. This year we had another range of wonderful Easter Hats which has been a great talking point as well as providing laughter to both customers and traders alike. I would like to say a big well done for all those involved and thank you to the judges who i am sure had a very difficult time deciding on who should win. In the women's category we have Angela Banfield owner of Elliru Designs who won 1st prize, Jane Eslick on Charlie's Pound Stall won 2nd prize and Sally McCarter owner of Colours of Creation who won 3rd prize. We also had two winners Alan Ward and Colin Jenkins in the Men's category 1st and 2nd place, a big congratulations to them for winning and also the granddaughter of Jacqueline, Jessica Tompson who won an Easter Egg for wearing the best hat in the children's category. Congratulations to everyone else who took part in the Easter Bonnet Competition and good luck for next year. We hope you enjoyed seeing the weird and wonderful hats, the smiles and the laughter along with the sunshine today has been a really nice site and we look forward to seeing you all again soon. Have a Fantastic Easter from all of us at the Tavistock Pannier Market!
