People are talking about the extreme sentences being handed out with regards to the riots.
This is really simple to understand; the legal system in this country is complete and utter ****. The only reason why these sentences seem harsh is because other sentences haven't been harsh enough! Now they decide to give them what they deserve to make a point when before people have basically gotten away with murder! The legal system really sucks and constantly lets people down. I found that out when I did my law degree. There is nothing fair or just about it.
