Gosh! This is a little bit harshly worded! How do you know what they're allegedly doing? You may be wrong.

It may sound harshly worded, thats because i feel very strongly that i should be able to enjoy the country side without being surrounded by homosexuals.
i have spoken with the police and they are well aware of the activities in that particular spot, and i have a male neighbour who regulary walks to yelverton over the moors and he is repulsed by them too.
Whatever people do in private is their buisiness 'but' keep it private "please"

ReportCurious to know as to what happened to this conversation?! The original story is still here... I don't agree with anyone doing this so publically but thought the writer was somewhat homophobic. Peaches2009 I think photographs would making you a peeping Tom. If you have real concerns then you should contact the necessary authorities.

ReportAhh, the conversation returned when I posted :-) Peaches2009 I don't like your tone; 'surrounded by homosexuals'. 'Repulsed by them'. I think you should be careful how you phrase your sentiments...

Yes this does seem to be more of an issue about peaches2009's dated views on homosexuality rather than the fact that there are people partaking in sexual acts outside. Anyone doing this in a public place, where children could possibly see, needs to be clamped down upon. Would you have the same strong views if it was a man and a woman, or two woman? Unfortunately your very poor choice of phrase has taken away from the problem at hand. I can see how it must be frustrating that the police won't do anything unless they're caught in the act. You would think they'd be keen to clamp down on the problem because it's a public area. Especially considering that many children often visit the area. I would seriously agree with star2sparkle about the photographing however. You could land yourself in all sorts of trouble doing that. I would also seriously suggest that you try and adjust your seemingly bigoted views.
Hello, just to let you know that i have no issues with 'gender' in 'fact' i have gay friends who are lovely. My concerns are that 'prostitution' is an offence, and as there are so many men in one spot regularly it seems that way.
Having just walked there this morning, i see the same cars and men hanging around. another lady who was there walking her dogs is also very aware of the commonly known carrying's on at that spot.
"sorry" about the choice of phrase. thankyou for having an opinion that somewhat agrees.

So if it was a man and a WOMAN would you have said: "While they do there disgusting stuff in the bushes", "I feel very strongly that i should be able to enjoy the country side without being surrounded by homosexuals", "He is repulsed by them too"? I do agree with your point (shouldn't be in public) but do feel that you would be taken more seriously if you weren't so homophobic. I do appreciate that you've already apologised for your phrase though.
