Abbey - Tour of Ruins

I noted with interest a guided walk this coming Friday by a local history expert, the walk being around various parts of the abbey's remains. But.... 10am, on a Friday?

Hello.... what about those of us that work? So often I see various events around our town like this and think how much I would like to go, but sadly I'm having to earn a living when they are on :-(

Yes I agree that it would have been better to organise it for a weekend so that we can all get involved! Do you know of anything similar thats going on at a more sensible time?

Sadly not lewis, will keep my ear to the ground.

There is a local history group tinyurl.com/y85hces but looking at their calendar of events... nothing on it is about local history!?
