  foxinthebox10 - My opinion has changed now - you are not a wind-up merchant. You are a I'm an all right Jack. There are many people who can just about afford to run a car. They need to do this for many reasons, one is a lack of public transport. 60 pence may be nothing to you, it may not be to me. But I don't put myself first when I express an opinion. I realise that may be a failing in your mindset as a fox.

  Just because I have a different opinion doesn't make me a wind up merchant. I'm simply trying to say that we're all used to similar systems in other towns so it's not it's going to kill us. 60p here and there will hardly break the bank. I'm a believer in trying to see the positives in things - to be honest I normally end up having to park in one of the pay and display car parks anyhow, beacuse on road parking is so popular. Now I may actually stand a chance of getting a decent space.

  Unfortunately they are just after money + VAT (Dave's Coffers). The more they have , the more poor decision making does not matter. The object is not fairness it is greediness.
