On Thursday 31st May Tavistock College Year 8 students were treated to an outstanding performance by Whitchurch Primary School choir during their assembly. The singers from Years 4, 5 and 6 sang six songs to the enthusiastic audience including Halleluya, King of the Swingers and The Climb. Several very talented pupils were brave enough to sing solos and the whole audience joined in the final rendition of Adele's Rolling in the Deep. A huge thanks goes to Karen Higginson, Year 5 teacher and Music Co-ordinator who runs the choir and brought the pupils to perform at the College.

Tavistock College are currently working closely with Whitchurch on a transition project called 'Musical Bridges' and our Jazz Band and Glee Choir have been to the school to perform this term.

Thanks to Sarah Pappin for organising this special event.
