The Tour of Britain passes through Tavistock on Saturday
After leaving Okehampton in the morning, the Tour will come down the A386. At Lydford the cyclists will turn right down School Road and then proceed to Tavistock via unmarked roads, eventually coming down Butcher Park Hill and then into the town.
The cyclists will proceed into Abbey Place and Drake Road and then into Abbey Place again where they'll cross the Tavy, turn left along Dolvin Road, turn right on the roundabout into Mount Tavy Road (A386) and then right again into Mount Tavy Road (B3357), before heading into the Dartmoor National Park towards Princetown.
It's understood that there will be no road closures in Tavistock on the day, but a rolling road block will precede the cyclists.
For a detailed map of the route, go to Stage 7: Barnstaple to Dartmouth - Saturday 15 September, then use the controls to zoom in on Tavistock.
