Tavistock College Students Start Their Preparations for Christmas

We are delighted that some new extra curricular clubs have begun this term for year 7. The British Sign Language club meet on Friday lunch time and they can be seen signing to a carol at our annual Carol Service on the 19th December.

Also, our catering manager Mrs Roberts has started a catering course with a group who meet in the College kitchen after school on Tuesdays to learn how to cook and prepare various delicious items of food. They have spent a few weeks learning about dough and Chelsea buns which have been seen going home for tea! Last week the group were set the task of making the Christmas puddings for the College Christmas dinner later in the term. After much spirited stirring and beating, the results can be seen in the photograph and tasted, by all, later in the term.
