Tavistock AC runner wins Bideford Half Marathon

Jim Cole of Tavistock AC won the event - held on Sunday 3 March - with a time of 1hr 8mins 56secs. He beat reigning champion and local runner Shaun Antell (Bideford AAC) by just ten seconds.
The women's race was won by Helen Dyke from Poole Runners (1 hr 25mins 5secs), followed by Catherine Newman of Exmouth Harriers (1 hr 25mins 52secs).
More than 1,000 runners took part in the annual event, organised by Bideford AAC.
