Peninsula Medical Students Visit Tavistock College

Four medical students from Peninsula Medical School kindly gave their time to visit a group of gifted and talented students in year 9.
They spoke about how to apply to medical school and then involved students in a range of interactive activities. The students "scrubbed up" with surgical gowns and gloves, used stethoscopes to listen to their hearts and used a UV light to highlight how dirty our hands can be, even when we consider them clean!
The group thoroughly enjoyed the visit and we are very grateful to the medical students for giving their time.
