NAME: Katherine Hair

LOCATION: Tavistock

OCCUPATION: I own a restaurant in Tavistock called Taylor's, with my Mum.

LIKES: Seeing my friends, going on holidays, shopping, rugby, keeping fit.

DISLIKES: Football

A SURPRISING FACT ABOUT ME IS: I play rugby and I used to want to go to ballet school.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT PLYMOUTH IS: The busyness of the city centre, the friendly people, lovely shops, fantastic restaurants, good nights out, the Barbican....... loads!

I WANT TO WIN FACE OF PLYMOUTH BECAUSE: I feel that, although I'm from Tavistock I would promote Plymouth a lot. I have also had some modelling experience before but would love to carry it forward. I love meeting new people and even just getting to the finals has given me so much. and I have learnt a lot.

I entered the competition because my mum and friends told me to but now it means a lot to me. I have met some fantastic people and enjoyed it so much I never want it to stop.

LOCATION: Crownhill

OCCUPATION: Trainee accountant and voluntary rock climbing instructor

LIKES: Sleeping, chocolate, watching films, reading, indoor and outdoor rock climbing, music, going for walks and bike rides.

DISLIKES: Early mornings, swimming in the sea and bad weather.

A SURPRISING FACT ABOUT ME IS: I love listening to the sound of rain before I go to bed; it sends me straight to sleep.

WHAT I LOVE ABOUT PLYMOUTH IS: The Hoe and Barbican area. I think the view of the sea and Drake's Island is what makes Plymouth such an attractive area to live. I have lived here my whole life and not once have I ever felt the need to move to a different part of the country.

I WANT TO WIN FACE OF PLYMOUTH BECAUSE: I would love to represent Plymouth. I have met so many nice people here and it only seems right to share my experiences. Winning the Face of Plymouth would also be a great boost in confidence for me. It could allow me to take up new and exciting challenges in the world of modelling.
