Jim Cole's "Run to the Salmon" gathers pace

Local athlete Jim Cole is running 13 miles under 1hour 13 minutes on Sunday 31st July. This is part of 13 things in 13 weeks raising money for the BBC Radio Devon Air Ambulance appeal which has been going on in recent weeks at The Leaping salmon Horrabridge. Jim will set off from close to The Burrator Inn at 13 minutes to 5 on Sunday afternoon head towards Burrator Resevoir a couple of laps around and then head back through Dousland and Walkhampton head across Knowle Down and finish at The Leaping Salmon at 6pm. The evning will continue at The Leaping  Salmon with an Irish cabaret evening, the aim is by the end of the 13 things that £1300 will be raised for the air ambulance appeal.
