My sister is currently looking to buy a property near Tavistock, and trawling through all of the various online sites has proved to be quite time consuming. I'm embarrassed to admit that I didn't think to suggest this site straight away, but I wish I had because it proved to be invaluable! It's powered by findaproperty.com, and has listings from a number of local estate agents - so you only need to look in one place. If you go to the 'Homes' tab on the main menu bar then enter 'Tavistock' you can view a large list of houses on the market in Tavistock (of course this all applies to other areas as well!). There are currently over 170 Tavistock houses listed, ranging from a £69,9500 1 bedroom studio apartment near the town centre, to a £1,300,000 5 bedroom house near Peter Tavy.
