Crash near Morwellham Quay junction

A 74 year-old man was injured following a road traffic collision that took place at around 4.35pm on Friday June 29.

Road traffic accident at Morwellham Quay junction, Tavistock
The collision involved two vehicles on the B3257 road at the Morwellham Quay junction close to Tavistock.
The man, who lives in Gunnislake, was driving the silver Lexus which collided with a South West Highways truck. He was taken to Derriford Hospital with chest injuries, but was described as stable.
The driver of the truck suffered from shock.
Police have identified some witnesses already, but are keen to hear from anyone else who was in the area at the time of the incident.
