Yet again we've had a very successful (if late) evening with our intermediate and senior teams at Callington.

In the intermediate round Elysia 08G, Molly Bolding and Emma Sampson took first place against two strong Plymouth High School teams and an enthusiastic Bodmin. In the feedback the chair of judges said, 'Tavistock was exceptionally good'.

We had two teams in the senior competition in the biggest field I can ever remember at this stage.

Flo Rodgers, Joe Way and Jed Coiley took a very well deserved first place with Plymouth High School in second and Emily Baker-Thurston , Jasmine Rice, Lily Hillson taking third. The judges said Joe, Jed and Flo were the best team they had ever seen, achieving 96 out of 100 marks ... as close to perfection as the judge had ever given.

Also there was a huge Junior competition with 14 Primary teams from the surrounding area. Well done to Gulworthy who also went on to win their second round. One parent said that it was watching our teams last year which inspired her son to enter. So we have a year 7 team for next year on its way.....

Good luck to all teams for the district final in Bodmin on the 2nd March
