Padstow Touring & Holiday Parks have praised the hard work and business insight of students in the Business Studies department at Tavistock College. The compnay have a number of customers from the Tavistock area, and they were extremely keen to enhance students' education by supporting this type of project.
The GCE Applied Business students have been studying the Parks as part of an investigative project they have been working on this term. Rachel Turner, Park representative, commented upon the depth of understanding the students showed. She was extremely impressed by the usefulness of the research, and will use it to help develop the business in the future. Rachel said: "It is rare to get a totally fresh perspective on your business, and we are delighted with how this project will benefit both the students in their studies and our business' development".
Due to the outstanding nature of the work produced by the students Padstow Touring and Holiday Parks have decided to present Cesi D'Alessio, Megan Carr, Fran Phillips and Kelly Walker with awards for the effort they had made.
